WHY DO PEOPLE REJECT THE LOVE OF JESUS WHO GAVE HIS LIFE FOR THEM?
ASK YOURSELF
A) Who is righteous (without sin)? No one is.
Romans 3:10, As is it written, There is none righteous, no, not one.
B) Who has sinned?
Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
C) What is God’s penalty for sin? Death and Hell.
Hebrews 9:27, It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
Romans 6:23, For the wages (payment) of sin is death.
This is the second death:
Revelation 20:14, 15, And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. And whosever was not found written in the book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.
Revelation 20:10, AND SHALL BE TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOREVER AND EVER.
D) Can I do good deeds to pay for my sin? NO
Ephesians 2:8, 9 For by GRACE are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of WORKS, lest any man should boast.
Romans 6:23, For the wages (payment) of sin is DEATH; but the gift of God is ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord.
E) Is there a way out? Yes.
John 3:3, Jesus said, I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God.
John 3:5, Jesus said, The truth is, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.
John 14:6, Jesus said, I AM THE WAY, the truth and the life; no one can come to the Father except through Me.
Acts 4:12, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name given among men, whereby we must be saved.
I Timothy 1:15, This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world TO SAVE SINNERS.
F) What must I do to have this salvation? Repent of your sin, believe, receive and confess Jesus Christ.
Luke 13:3, Unless you repent, you shall all likewise perish.
Luke 18:13, God be merciful to me a sinner.
Acts 16:31, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and YOU SHALL BE SAVED.
John 1:12, But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
Romans 10:9,10 For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
Dear reader,
If God has been speaking to your heart, why not pray this prayer right now:
Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and need a Saviour. I ask for forgiveness of my sin and ask You to be my Lord and personal Saviour. I am trusting in You and You alone for my salvation. I believe You suffered and died on the cross to pay the FULL price for my sin, and to give me new life, and that You rose again from the grave. I thank You for saving me.
